WHO WE ARE
WHO WE ARE...
We are a team of educators passionate about Musical Theatre singing. We come from a wide range of professional and educational backgrounds but are united by a collective passion for helping others learn about and experience both singing and teaching in Musical Theatre.
WHAT WE DO
We provide the highest quality in-person and online courses for Musical Theatre singing and Musical Theatre voice teaching. With every course we develop and implement--whether one-to-one, in a classroom, or online--we strive to provide information that is accessible, specific, and rooted in how we learn.
HOW WE DO IT...
When developing courses, curriculum, and educational resources we are focused on 3 key principals:
WE ARE RE-THINKING EDUCATION
Much can be learned from the past about how we teach and how we can grow. We are committed to researching, analyzing, and re-thinking how we learn to sing and teach singing in Musical Theatre. Our mission is to constantly innovate and improve upon how we create opportunities for learning.
WE ARE FOCUSED ON ACCESSIBILITY
Everything we teach is researched, examined, applied, and revised so it can continue to grow with each student and course. We are constantly considering how we distill knowledge to its most learnable format, leaving room for information to be shaped by the unique experiences of the individuals who consume it. Furthermore, we are focused on optimally organizing and packaging information in the best way for the demographic that will interact with it. Creating accessible resources is our greatest opportunity to help anyone who seeks to cultivate an understanding of their own voice to become their best self.
WE ARE ROOTED IN MUSICAL THEATRE
Musical Theatre singing is its own compelling, dynamically flexible, and well-established genre; each team member at BroadwayVox is firmly grounded in the field and understands the path toward artistic development within it. We specialize in understanding and re-thinking what it means to sing and perform in Musical Theatre today, with its established and continuously changing demands. Our job is to be curious and flexible so that we can best serve the communities that engage with, and benefit from, Musical Theatre and Musical Theatre singing.
